It was my great pleasure to work with Lance Totten on the film JACKPOT.  He is the consumate Set Decorator: resourceful, affable, inquisitive, always professional and prepared, upbeat and energetic, and - very important - just plain funny --. He brings original ideas to the table, and works hard to capture the nuance of visual story-telling in his work.

Our design meetings were rewarding deep-dives into the script and the research, as we discussed character, world-building, comedy, and (in this case --) ever-present action --. He is highly experienced with the nuts and bolts of film-making and he delivers attractive, finished sets on time and on budget, with a minimum of drama --.

    Unsurprisingly, Lance comes with a hard-working, first-rate team, likewise notable for their professionalism and dedication to the project, as well as unfailing good humor --. I look forward to working with Lance again, hopefully in the very near future --!
