Lance Totten is a 30-year veteran of the Film and Television industry, who has worked in all facets of the set decoration department during his career in Atlanta, GA. Lance has been a Set Decorator since 2004 and has numerous feature film and television credits, as well as experience as an art-director for commercials and music videos. In recent years, Lance has decorated feature films for Universal, Paramount, Disney +, and Amazon Studios, as well as limited series for FX/Hulu, HBO Max, and the most watched original show in the history of Peacock, “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist”. Some of his prior credits include AMC’s critically acclaimed period drama “Halt and Catch Fire,” and the indie-blockbuster “Baby Driver” (called “The Most Stylish Film of the Year” by Nerdist’s film critic Dan Casey). He has also decorated several first-season series for Netflix, 21st Century Fox Televison, AMC, Starz, MTV, BET, and TBS.
Early in his decorating career, Lance’s work on a series of Lionsgate feature films for Tyler Perry led to commercial interior design jobs at 2 different production studios, as well as numerous residential projects for the industry mogul. To date, Lance has worked in the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Coastal Georgia, and Southern California. Lance is also the Board of Directors President of the Set Decorator’s Society of America, an International Organization, and is the first non-Californian to hold that office. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA where he is also part owner of The Wheelhouse Pub in Decatur, a neighborhood bar and restaurant.
